Goodbye. A thanks from my “Other Half”. Please, everyone read this.
Erin.. I know this won’t be as special to you being that I talk to you every day and that I actually know you in person, know you as the person you are, but I am saying this mostly for the people who don’t have the opportunity I have. The followers that love what you post, but don’t know who you are as a person. I invite all of Erin’s followers to read this because what I am about to say means a lot to me.
This person means a lot to me. This blog is a part of her, so for her to give it up is something she did not take on lightly. She put her life into this blog to make sure that all of you, all of her followers, know something about her. This was her way to reach out, to be social. The things she posts are not random or are not things she just finds pretty. These are her emotions through posts and gifs. The monochrome is symbolism at its finest. Knowing her blog gives you an insight into her head, which I have to imagine is an interesting place. This shows her interests, her passions, her favorite color without her having to explain it. This sanctum of hers is something amazing. Remember that.
Some of you may know me/not know me, but I am her boyfriend. She means a lot to me. She is what I wake up for. God I hope I mean as much to her but I do know that you guys mean a lot to her. I want you all to realize that she is a phenomenal person. Someone that I wish you all could get to know better. Her theme shows how she feels most of the time, but there is a person inside of her that lights up in color. If you only know the side of sad, dark monochrome anime gifs, know that she does find a way to be happy (or at least pretend). I take all parts of her. Sad, happy, monochrome, all of it. So don’t give up on her as a person, or as a blog, just because she is moving to a different part in her life. She worked to make this a quality blog and by god it is one of the best I have seen on tumblr. At least of monochrome. Her letting go of this blog, this site, is a step no one asked her to take. This was her pride and joy, the thing she would go home to, so be happy for her and miss her blog simultaneously. She is a one in a million, I hope you all know that. I ask you all please do not forget her, because she will never forget you.
